Re: Photo test

From Flickr: Where is the HTML code and photo file link? The HTML code to embed a photo in a web page that you used to find on the All Sizes page is now only in the Share menu above the photo, to the right of the Actions menu. We now also include BBCode! (standard message board code) There are a few...

Re: How do you add 7.5 min series topo sections to comments?

How would I go about including a topo map image along with my comment? I see that users interested in displaying digital photo images have to first have the images available on the web before they can be added to this forum. Would this also pertain to pasting 7.5 min series topo sections? Yes Final...

[im*g]www.photobucket.com/name of user/name of file[/im*g] note that in my example above, there is an extra asterisk in the image tag so the code won't activate. Yours will not have those asterisks. David Bricker / SYR You can wrap examples in code tags too [img]www.photobucket.com/name of user/nam...

Re: Marble Bath

I had no idea the early topo maps had that notation. Any idea if that is how the "marble bath" came to be? Someones cartographic humor? Josh  Marble Bath is nothing but small temporary tinaja (water pool). Not many have seen it filled with water. Since it is on basalt rocks, it looks like bath...

Re: Yippieeeee!

Ok, thanks. I wonder how many "normal" people understood what you wrote, about the DB tables being reindexed, how phpBB has no such function, and high server loads. Fortunately I'm a computer professional and it all makes perfect sense to me! Thanks for your efforts - I'll try my research project a...

Thanks for the reminder!
Search words DB tables have to be reindexed.
phpBB has no such function, an extra mod has to be installed, then run in off-peak hours (causes high server loads).

Most likely it'll be done this weekend.

Hot Springs, definately. It's close and somebody is always there.

If you would be really close to Dedeckera Canyon you might go for Eureka Dunes, but you might wait there a while before somebody shows up.

Trek towards Scotty's Castle would be close to suicide...

The old user table was in completely different format and to convert each field would take too long. Eventually, stuff like registration dates will be corrected (as the time allows). Some topics got mixed with wrong posts (very small percentage) and they'll be manually corrected in near future. Back...
