I haven't been on this site in almost a year, but after reading some Ed Abbey, I have had some desert longings. Site hasn't changed much in the last year or so. Man, I miss the desert!

:oops: Embarassing... I take a month long sabatical from the forums and now people are commenting about my love life!

No internet access here in Colorado...I have to ride 5 miles to the local coffee shop, but the snow is slowly melting and I think there is earth somewhere under the white....

You are correct...HOwEVER...on a VERY clear day from whitney, you can see mt. charelston, and maybe death valley. I know from white mountain peak you can see telescope, but not into the valley proper, and I know a panarama taken from telescope could concieveably encompass both the highest point and ...
