On Saturday, March 21, four agencies teamed up to rescue a 60-year-old Santee man who fell down a mineshaft in Death Valley early Friday, suffering severe head injuries, San Bernardino authorities said. If the Times does any research they should have crossed this site. Maybe even ask a few questions. Research and verification is something the Times has been lacking the last few decades.

Not really not next door to Tucson but the town of Bisbee is really interesting with a museum that is outstanding. There is also a caverns system down that way with tours.

Just to add a bit of info about winter road conditions is a road like Hunter Mountain can mess you up on your gas distance. You can sometimes drive up Lippencott thinking your going to skip around problems with stuck vehicles in Grapevine or similar. Thing is if you can't get over Hunter for snow or...
