Re: The next best thing to Star Wars Canyon

Hike out to the Needles where the fire lookout was located and watch and wait. https://stored-edge.slickpic.com/MjM1OWRhZmQ1NTEw/20181020/MTU1MjAxNzEwNTVk/p/1600/Sequoia-NF-Oct-2018-069-copy.jpg https://stored-edge.slickpic.com/MjM1OWRhZmQ1NTEw/20181020/MTU1MjAxNzcwNWFh/p/1600/Sequoia-NF-Oct-2018-09...

Re: Badwater to Dantes Peak and back March 26th

Great hike and video! But please excuse me, I must correct the assumption that late sixties or early seventies is "elderly". That gave this husband and wife team quite the belly laugh.

Re: Two-Holer Outhouses - Census

I believe there is a three holer broken down in Leadfield. That's my memory so please correct me if I'm wrong. Most of it was in shade so the only photo I have is of the north side - sitter's left. https://stored-edge.slickpic.com/MjM1OWRhZmQ1NTEw/20140424/Nzg5NzYwM2QxMTU,/p/1950/DVNP-Dec-2011-018-c...

Mr. Wright, I've had your website bookmarked for many years. Thank you for your information. You have lived in some great places, Winnemucca included. We consider Nevada our alternate home state.

As a high school kid in the 60's, my buddies and I would make trips into the Panamints. My wife and I have been visiting Death Valley together since the late 80's but especially sinc...
