Why do long exposure shots turn out grainy as hell? I never had this problem with film, now every digital pic with a 15 second or longer exposure looks pixelated and grainy. Maybe the long exposure technology isn't up to par yet. Most of my summer lightning pics have 15 minute+ exposures. I suppose...

i have tried a polarizer on my 20D and really don't like the way it looks. I will agree with that.
