Cinder Hill Walkabout

Post by Death Valley Dazed » Tue Apr 17, 2018 8:15 pm

Mid-April I really enjoyed a sunrise circumnavigation of Cinder Hill, the volcanic nub just north of The Shoreline Butte. Views of the Owlsheads, Panamints, Blackhills and Armagosas were spectacular and clear. The Cinder Hill is split down the middle north-south by a fault line. The west side of the hill seems about two thirds larger than the east hill. The hill is not only split but the two side has slid past each other some.

Steve Hall gave me permission to use his song "Western Frontier" which he composed and played the guitar riffs along with his group "Wagon Band."
