That CG tower must be how I get service when I'm out on Lower Centennial Flat, at the U2 tree site, along stretches of 190 out there, and in places along the southern miles of the Saline Valley Road.

On Easter 2019, I finally made it up Panamint Butte, from the Big Four Mine. I had cell service pretty much the entire time! I was able to post to Facebook from the summit and again during my descent, when more than halfway down the ridge. I presume that was also courtesy of the CG tower, though it's quite a few miles away!
