On the Park website they are now saying neither the road nor the castle will reopen until Fall 2021. :roll:

It seems like a lot of the delay has to do with restoring on-site utilities, going through the historical preservation boards to make needed changes to some structures, and rebuilding the road. I read a short report that revealed that the old road was built in essentially the worst possible place in the canyon bottom, so they need to re-rengineer and rebuild a new roadbed entirely.

Going to be a race between NPS opening Scotty's and NASA finally launching JWST. They both keep slipping more and more...
