Strozzi Ranch area, Brier Springs Canyon in Death Valley National Park offers great geology to explore. This set of spikes, spires, pinnacles, caves, and tunnels is a fun stopover on your way up to The Strozzi Ranch. You can't miss it, is just north of the road a hundred yards out in the Nevada Triangle north and west of Rhyolite.

Life begins in Death Valley
Strozzi Ranch is a cool area to check out. Spent a few nights holed up at the corral on the offshoot road near all the old buildings. Bushwhacked my way from there to the top of Wahguyhe Peak. Would not recommend it unless you're equally dumb as me and like punishing yourself for a good time. There's a trailhead from the other side of Wahguyhe Peak but I didn't feel like driving down and back up a side road to get to it, plus I like doing dumb things and complaining about it later.
