Embedding youtube videos?

Post by Candace_66 » Fri Jun 12, 2015 8:59 am

Here's the "embed" code for a video I wanted to share...what do I need to do over here to actually make it embedded? Thx in advance.

Sorry for the long delay. At this time, the software running this form doesn't allow any sort of embedding. I hope to change that in the near future.

P.S. When I was there 3 or so years ago, that adit had a big locked door. Looks open now...

There is still a locked mesh door (more like a grate) over it! It is seriously flooded, and there's a small stream running out of it.

Just want to say, it's great to have the forum back! I missed it and it's getting well into DV hiking season

YouTube and Vimeo are something that I am working on. Previously it has been done with custom BBCode, however, every time YouTube makes a little URL change, the code no longer works and has to be updated manually here abandoning the previously posted videos with no way to update them. I'm working on a long term solution right now...

Has been a pain for years! Just last week a new extension for phpBB came out and I was testing it elsewhere before I used it here. Should forever solve the problems!

Right now Tumblr, Imgur, Amazon, Pinterest, Reddit, Facebook, GoFundMe, Instagram, Twitter, VEVO, Flicker, Google Drive, Vimeo and YouTube are enabled on this site. Simply click the little TV/Media icon (to the right of font size) and place the URL between the tags.
