in Death Valley? If so, I think I found it.

(just seeing if I can do this without my son looking over my shoulder)

I was wondering where my brain went and I should have known that it joined my heart which lays in Death Valley. Someday the rest of my body parts may join up as well?

I'm a sucker for puns so like your comeback.

Another caption for the stone-brain image: The remains of Death Valley Scotty's long lost mining partner, Al Zheimer have been exhumed and are now on display at the Furnace Creek Visitors Center.

I know this corny as the Devil's Cornfield, but what the Hades Fault!

When I click the link in your other post, Shutterfly is asking me to log in, so I'm not entirely sure whether Shutterfly works with the image tag setup on this forum. Generally, what folks do to post an actual picture in the thread is to put the URL for the image between two image tags, e.g.

[ i m g ] https://www.flickr.com [ / i m g ]

except deleting the extra spaces in the tags (I put them there so it wouldn't try to load an image) and putting an actual image URL instead of the flickr homepage.

Hope this helps, and feel free to post back if you have any other questions about this.

Looking forward to reading your trip report!

Thanks Kauri, It sounds as though it may be my shutterfly settings. I will attempt to correct the problem and write a trip report about a place you know well, the Grapevine Mountains.

Great! I think I recall that you did quite a bit of exploring in the area between Fall and Red Wall many years ago?
