widescreen vs. regular screen

Post by SteveH » Sun Jun 28, 2009 10:43 am

A while back I switched over to a widescreen monitor because I had noticed that more and more sites on the internet were changing their pages to be set for that screen resolution. Thus, I was finding myself having to side scroll in order to see everything with my old monitor. When I switched over, I noticed that this forum automatically adjusted to the appropriate width to fill the screen.

Anyway, I was wondering if a couple people could test the main page of my site (panamintcity.com) for me, as I have just switched it over to a widescreen setting. It's the main page only, but I'm trying to stay progressive. If anybody notices any viewing problems, let me know. Thanks.

Seems to work fine for me. I am running on a 14" screen laptop, 1400 x 1050. I use partial windows, almost never go full screen for anything. Your site showed up with a small scroll bar, but enlarging my window just a bit took it away.

So, I'd say it looks good to me.

It still looks good on my 1024 X 768 monitor.

Guys, thanks so much for taking a minute to check it out. It's a relief to know that it looks okay on other monitors and screens.
