Memories of a good person

Post by Older Fossil » Thu Sep 05, 2019 10:30 am

I was starting to clean up old files on our web server and came across this picture of Jody Stewart, long time owner and resident of Cerro Gordo. Jody was the person who really began the preservation of the remains of the mine and town. This picture was taken in 1999 and is likely the last time I saw her.

I have a few photos, video and notes from interviews with her as well. Her and Mike passed on too soon.
