Old mining shack

Post by anderld47 » Sat Mar 12, 2016 12:20 am

In Spring of 2005 I happened upon this shelter. I think it was in the area of the Greenwater or Furnace sites. I'm going back to the area in late March with a buddy flying out from Boston. I was wondering if anyone has the gps coordinates so I could find it and show it to my friend.

I can't figure out how to embed the pics in this post so I've just put the links to my drop box account.

Thanks in advance.

It is located at the Kunze townsite of Greenwater, the original Greenwater townsite. Don't have GPS coordinates, but use an easily obtainable topo map to locate.

Thanks David. I figured I'd just wander aimlessly until I found it as I did when I first came across it. Great example of a semi "Cousin Jack" dugout.
