Great Basin was my favorite National Park until I discovered Death Valley about seven years ago. Those ancient bristlecones never cease to amaze!

This looks like a fun and varied trip. Somehow I missed this post, I guess because I was off hiking south of Tucson for a couple of weeks around the time it got posted. Thanks for posting, you always have good ideas for places to go!
