Good to hear, Charles! Good to hear the site is in good hands and its integrity will continue like it did in yours.

FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND....

They were trying to move the site to another server and lost the entire thing for a while. Now the site has been turned over to someone else and they are working to get the site back up and running.

It could be a total false hood but that's what I get from people who are supposedly in the know. I have no idea when it will be back up again if ever.

It's too bad because there was a hell of a lot of great information on that site.
What's up, Old Buddy?

You're pretty close. I no longer have any keys to the kingdom. I have passed the site and all associated URL's on to an enthusiastic youngin' who will keep it going for the next generation of desert explorer. Shortly after that, some compatibility issues arose while the databases where being moved to a new server. I'm not gonna get in detail on the issues, but as of right now, the vast wealth of knowledge that was there is still intact. From what I gather, it's a time consuming ordeal to get everything back up and running. It will get done. The man behind the curtain just needs to get the time freed up to make it happen.

Panamintvalley.com will be back. Maybe even better than it was before.
Hey Charlie. Good to know you're still kicking. I'm really enjoying my new place out here in Nevada. I gotta meet up with David here this spring. Hell, We didn't even get a winter really and it feels like spring now. Anyhow, if you're ever in central Nevada give me a hollar and stop on by. Lot's of room here. I even have hookups out back for RVs. Watch my You Boob channel to see what's goin on in the shop and my Nevada exploring stuff. http://www.youtube.com/mobiltec

The Reno weather lady said last night that it was virga passing over Winnemucca last night. Well then, we got five inches of virga in Winnemucca last night ... :D Still flurrying today.

Perhaps this could be the Panamint Charlie forum for the time being. Snowing here in Central Nevada today... Love it.

The Wife and I were toying with the idea of building another vintage Bronco and building or acquiring a canned ham to tow around behind it. Got to googling canned hams and many kept coming back to you. We've been doing some camping on Padre Island National Seashore when we get the free time and I think an old Bronco and a canned ham built to handle the 120 miles of shoreline/sand dune driving would be the bee's knees.

Well you know where to go to get your info for building or rebuilding your canned ham trailer. I also do live on line classes now. Our class project is a 54 Jewel. We are in the disassembly and discovery stage right now.
