Camping near Confidence Hills

Post by Stincil » Fri Feb 09, 2018 10:50 am

Is there an issue with camping along Harry Wade Road at the south end of the Confidence Hills?, other than the usual back country regs.I don't see any prohibition on the DVNP website; no one answers the phone over there.
Thanks,

Keith

i've done it a number of times, will be out there again in a few weeks. there are some obvious pullouts to get off the road and it's nice and quiet camping out there.

Maybe I'll see you out there. We'll be camping in Buckwheat Wash, too.
Thanks,

If you are a member, Facebook is really pretty good at that.Very responsive. I also have real good luck emailing the park with questions.

Getting a specific email address of a ranger that works with camping is very helpful.

At the north end of the Wade Road, there is still a no-camping sign. However, the camping rules currently posted on the website don't seem to preclude camping along the Wade Road:
