I wandered up another canyon, and along ridgetops somewhere in DVNP.
Come on along...
Hey! Put that down...
Nearing the gateway...
After turning left there is a nice overhanging shelter in the shade...
With nearby flowing water...
Nice hat...
Down canyon view...
Here kitty, kitty, kitty...
Kitty huntin' blind???...
Deep canyon down there, loose dirty gravel conglomerate, nearly impassible...
But first look over here...
Panorama shot
This dirt clod was so big it nearly blocked the canyon, but there was a small opening to crawl through. Just a small example of several similar obstacles...
Another panorama shot
And I'm out...
FWIW, every rock circle that I saw had coarse rocks on the inside. Almost as if someone screened the contents of each circle, and threw the oversized rock back on top. I did GPS the broken projectile point tho. |

Yes, very nice. I don't want to play "guess the location" that's not fair though I don't think I've been there but I do have some guesses as to the general area based on features in the canyon. Very nice! _________________ My Death Valley panoramas:
