Another 2 days and then of to USA.
I have second thoughts:
So we come from LAs Vegas and stay at panamint springs in death valley:
We have some options to see nice things, but what is a good option? Not to stay in a car whole of the day.
Next day we go to Virginia Creek settlement, what to see along the way there?Same day Bodie(and Mono lake) or can we do it better the day we go from VCS to Yosemite?

kind regards

In Death Valley, do what David recommended - Dante's View, Badwater and Devil's Golf Course and Artist's Drive and Visitor Center. Eat lunch at the Ranch. Mosaic canyon is lovely in the afternoon. Remember that the temperatures are going to be in the 44-46°C range! so you won't want to be out of your car much.....
Then, going up Hwy 190 to Hwy 136 to Lone Pine and north on Hwy 395 is absolutely gorgeous!! Take your time and enjoy the views of our 4000m peaks! Visit the Tufa at Mono Lake. Virginia Lakes Resort is high, so it'll be cooler.
Bodie takes a while to enjoy - so do that the next day. Then come south to go over Tioga Pass - it'll be open for sure this time of year. From Lee Vining to Yosemite Valley is 2 hrs without stopping, but you'll want to stop. It's gorgeous!! Hope you have reservations for all this - no last minute rooms are ever available! enjoy!
