Yellow Frocks
I'm only three years late in answering this post, but for what it's worth, I'm leaning towards Yellow Frocks. I'm in the middle of putting up a page for False Woolly Sunflower (which has only five ray flowers ... the things that most people would call petals). Here's what I have so far...
False Woolly Daisy (Syntrichopappus fremontii):
http://www.dvplants.com/PLANTS/FALSE/index.html
Here's my page for Pringle's Woolly Sunflower (Eriophyllum pringlei):
http://www.dvplants.com/PLANTS/PRINGLE/index.html
Woolly Daisy (Eriophyllum wallacei):
http://www.dvplants.com/PLANTS/WOOLLY/index.html
And Yellow Frocks (Eriophyllum ambiguum):
http://www.dvplants.com/PLANTS/ERIOPHYLLUM/index.html
