Jeep Rental in Death Valley in JULY

Post by kitano » Wed May 30, 2018 3:14 am

Hello,
is there another option to rent a JEEP for Death Valley?
Farabee's Jeep Rental is close in July, and we come from July, 6 to July, 9 in Death Valley...
Can you help me? Thanks!!

Let me know if you find something, especially something more affordable than Farabee.

You might try Enterprise in Pahrump but if you go off pavement then you're on your own for towing, damage or repair. Vegas might have a "rugged rental" option that allows for off road?

I've used Farrabees 3x and loved it but now they've priced themselves out of my budget. I never had any mechanical, tire or other issues with their jeeps and the emergency alert system they use is reassuring.

If resorted to renting trucks from either Enterprise or from an outfit called Rugged Rental in Utah and driving the rig to Death Valley. A truck will do you fine unless you're going over the technical four wheel terrain.

I reserved a Wrangler in Las Vegas a few years ago, but when I got there, they gave me a 2WD Liberty...."Oh, we sold all our Wranglers".

"You know how to take the reservation; you just don't know how to HOLD the reservation."

A friend used to rent nicely equipped 4WD vehicles from some small outfit in LV, but that was years ago and I never knew the name anyway. You might look around there. I would make sure you rent from some place that knows (and will charge you!) for going off road.
