DVNHA needs help keeping VC open - update

Post by Death Valley Dazed » Thu Jan 10, 2019 5:16 pm

I just got this plea from David Blacker which contains updates on partial gov't shutdown. I donated $30.00 in addition to my annual membership. These folks do heaps to help the park out all year round.

You are most welcome. I've met David Blacker twice and he's just super friendly and helpful. I also stopped by unannounced this Fall to the DVHNA HQ at Cowcreek and was welcomed like a VIP by the staff even though I had not met any of them. David was not present. They stopped what they were doing to help me locate and contact the local NPS curator. They also explained how they help support the park by their sales at the Visitor Center, dues and fund drives. David and his crew have been vital to the Scotty's Castle restoration.

I'm sure that DVNHA is not perfect in every way, but what organization composed of people is. They sure have my support!
