rain roads closed

Post by SSSdave » Mon Feb 04, 2019 4:42 pm

How about a locals insider report on current storm? desertusa site today reads:

Emigrant Canyon Road and Upper and Lower Wildrose roads are CLOSED. There are sections of mud and debris on North Highway/Scotty's Castle Road (between Highway 190 and Grapevine Ranger Station), Dantes View Road, and Artists Drive

Until now this season's precipitation has been ho hum. If it was enough to close some roads, it is enough to at least in a few local areas make landscapes green in a couple to three weeks. And Mr Manly wonders if the Amargosa show signs up basin of possible nurishment?
