Request: Next person to Panamint City.....

Post by wbdeford » Sun Jul 07, 2019 11:56 am

...please take a close up shot of the northwest corner of the smelter stack. This precariously perched brick was in this spot both in April 2017 and May 2019. I'm very curious to know what effect, if any, the earthquakes had on it, assuming no other damage....

Got confirmation that the brick survived the earthquake, but the one to the right in the second picture has fallen.

Thanks and I'm relieved and much surprised that the precarious main stack survived the shaker.

A guy on another forum specifically went to Panamint City to see if there was quake damage. I had mentioned interest in the bricks.
