Ok you chickens, time to strip down at the hot springs!

Sure am wishing I was a wealthy and skilled bush pilot right now so I could take advantage of this remote spot in Death Valley. The drive out there really is fun though. I've been there from Hunter Mountain, Inyo Mountains, and Lippincott Pass but not from Eureka through Steele Pass. That's on the bucket list.

Part of me wants to land at the Chicken Strip because it would be a beautiful flight, the other part fears a fiery death in view of a nudist camp.

Been through Steele Pass but decades ago. It's rough at the top, some pretty narrow spots, then just a long grind. If you make the trip, get in touch and I'll tell you how to find the real marble bath.

Thanks, MG for the reply and offer to help. I'm aware of the Real Marble Bath and have seen several images online of folks "bathing in marbles". By the time I pass through I do hope it's still there and not vandalized or flooded out. Maybe sometime in 2020, I hope!

That's not the real Marble Bath. Though it is a real bathtub full of marbles :)
